Harwood Union High School celebrates 2025 Homecoming Week, October 6–11 with a week of spirit, athletic events, school traditions, and an Alumni Social at the Big Picture in Waitsfield. All students, families, alumni, and community members are invited to join in celebrating Highlander pride.
Homecoming Week events:
Monday, October 6
- Student Pep Rally – During school hours (Students only).
Tuesday, October 7
- Girls’ Soccer vs. Lake Region – 4 p.m. (Lower field).
- Open House – 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 8
- Field Hockey vs. Milton – 4 p.m. (Girls’ varsity).
Thursday, October 9
- Mountain Day – For Seniors.
- Harvest Fest – Grades 9–11.
Friday, October 10
- Boys’ Soccer vs. Lamoille – 4 p.m. (Lower field).
- Homecoming Dance – 7–9 p.m. (High School students only).
Saturday, October 11
Alumni Social at the Big Picture, Waitsfield 2–5 p.m.
Reconnect and celebrate with fellow Highlanders at the Harwood Homecoming.
Alumni Social. It’s a fundraiser featuring:
- Live music by the Harwood Assembly Band.
- Cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres crafted by Harwood athletes.
- Tickets: $20 for one / $35 for two.
- Hosted by the Harwood Boosters Club.
- Proceeds support co-curricular and extracurricular programs at Harwood Union High School. Tickets, event info and donations available at:

Saturday Sports Events
- Girls’ Volleyball vs. Missisquoi – 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (Harwood Gymnasium).
All athletic events take place at Harwood Union High School, unless otherwise noted.
Concessions and Harwood gear will be available at all games.
