Harwood varsity girls’ basketball coach Tommy Young expressed his enthusiasm for Danielle’s new role. Danielle has been an integral part of our youth program over the past few years. She exhibits a true passion for the sport, but more importantly, understands the value of creating a positive experience for young athletes.”

Young highlighted that he was looking for a leader who emphasizes skill development and aligns with the program's vision. “I’ve watched her coach over the years and have always appreciated the way she communicates with players, the calm demeanor she models, and the way she encourages athletes to grow and improve.”

The Mini-Metro season runs November through February and is meant for players looking to have opportunities beyond their middle school teams. Tryouts will be held in September at CBMS.

The AAU season will be a short season (mud season) and will run after the completion of the school season and finish before the start of the spring sports seasons.
