Valley voters headed to the polls this week to cast ballots in Vermont’s primary election. While statewide voters favored Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amanda Janoo over Aly Richards, Valley voters did not, casting 772 ballots for Richards and 564 for Janoo.
In the democratic race for Lt. Governor, Valley voters mirrored statewide results, favoring Molly Gray over Ryan McLaren, 717 to 543, respectively.

Duxbury D 210, R 61
Warren D 332, R 35
In the race for state representative, incumbents Dara Torre, D-Moretown and Candice White, D-Waitsfield, received 1106 and 1096 votes, respectively, or 38.97 and 38.62 percent of the votes cast by voters in Warren, Waitsfield, Moretown, Duxbury and Fayston.
