Studio 100 Dance and Fitness presents its annual holiday adaptation of “The Nutcracker,” reimagined with a blend of dance styles and creativity. Performances are Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2 and 6 p.m. at Harwood Union High School, featuring dancers from Studio 100.
This year’s Nutcracker keeps the heart of Tchaikovsky’s classic – Clara’s journey through the Land of Sweets – while adding a twist. Audiences will experience a colorful mix of ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary dance that brings new energy to familiar scenes and characters.
“Our goal was to honor the tradition of “The Nutcracker” while letting our dancers explore their individuality through different styles,” says Alyssa Dybala, owner/artistic director. “It’s magical, inspiring, and full of surprises – a celebration of both the story and the creativity of our young performers.”
The production features 48 dancers, ranging in age from 4 to 16, and showcases the talent and teamwork that define Studio 100’s dance community.
