The Corner School Resource Center of Granville, Vermont, in partnership with the Central Vermont Council on Aging, presents “Preparing for Medicare Open Enrollment,” an informational session to help seniors navigate the choices this October.
Stephanie Poirier, a state health insurance program (SHIP) coordinator, will be on hand to discuss the difference between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, how Part D or Advantage Plan may be changing this year, and how to compare and enroll in a new Part D or Advantage Plan during open enrollment.
She’ll also answer specific questions about individual needs and concerns.
The workshop will be held at the Corner School, 75 Post Office Road in Granville on Thursday, September 4, starting at 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
