The night is headlined by Adam Groppman, a native Bostonian who started and built his comedy shops in Los Angeles and is now based in Maine. Groppman’s stand-up mixes biting social observation and personal mishaps and absurdities, with strong punchlines and plenty of heartfelt connection.

Groppman brings decades of experience performing in top clubs from California to New England, and his writing has been featured in LA Weekly, LA Times, NY Times, and he’s been heard on NPR and SiriusXM and seen in several national TV commercials. With a style that’s equal parts thoughtful, irreverent, and neurotically honest, his comedy explores everything from generational nonsense to modern-day awkwardness with delightfully unexpected turns at every corner.

Opening the show is Matt Vita, a fast-rising comic and actor whose fun energy, chaotic characters and “handsome homeless guy” appearance have made him a favorite on the alt and club circuits alike. A near-professional snowboarder, Vita splits his time between New York City and Vermont.

Levi Silverstein hosts the evening with his trademark blend of chill charm and likable wit. Known for his quick crowd work and low-key confidence, Burlington-area resident Silverstein keeps the show moving and the audience on their toes.

Tickets are $15, available at the door or https://www.bigpicturetheater.info/event-list
