Waitsfield author Kathy Mehuron’s newest novel, “Down on South Beach Drag” will be released by Simon and Schuster on July 15. This is Mehuron’s fourth novel. The first three were published by SparkPress and that company has just merged with the Stable Book Group. Mehuron explained that that means that distribution will be managed by Simon and Schuster.
"One unexpected benefit of these developments has been an easier path to booking speaking engagements. With the support of my publicist and the expanded reach of my publisher, opportunities have flourished, and I find myself grateful for this newfound visibility,” she said.
She reported that the performance of “Down on the South Beach Drag” on various sales charts has been strong and said the response has been encouraging.
"Sub-genres within the Coming-of-Age category are showing remarkable sales, and to see my novel competing against thousands of others for a spot in the top rankings is nothing short of thrilling,” she added.
