I was brought up by a family of musicians, knowing at a young age that performing music would continue into my adulthood. Never grow up!

What was your first job and how did you get it?

I was15-years-old working for Papa Gino’s Pizzeria. I applied to be their dough maker and worked all positions during high school.

Who was the biggest influence in your decision to choose the work you now do?

Ron Heckbert was a co-worker at Papa Gino’s, who needed a helper for his Crystal Clear Window Cleaning business. I worked for him during college, then my mother passed away in February 2007, he helped me establish my own business, which I named in her honor. Sandy O’s Window Cleaning.

What steps did you take to get where you are today/what sacrifices have you made to get to this point in the work you do?

After receiving my business certificate, I rode my bike flyering handwritten advertisements to many neighborhoods until dark. I would go to storefronts and show them my insurance, clean one window, and an estimate for the rest. Every business allowed me to continue. It wasn't until I moved to MRV that I was able to take this business full time. Thanks to all my customers past and present, I am grateful!

What is the best job advice that you’ve ever received?

What are you most grateful for in your life?

Becoming a father to my beautiful daughter Lillyana, my friends and family, and the musicians I get to share grooves with!

What do you do in your free time?
