To The Editor:

Christine Hallquist got my vote for governor.

Christine is committed to high-quality health care for all Vermonters. She knows that it’s time for universal health care (Medicare for all) in Vermont. She’ll work with nearby states to expand our health care network and keep costs low.

She knows that Vermont has an energy problem. About 78 cents of every dollar that we spend on fossil fuels leaves the state. She’s going to lead us to 90 percent renewable energy by 2050.

When all Vermonters have health care and the income from energy generated in Vermont stays here, we all benefit economically. What a win-win; health care and renewable energy, and we save money.

That’s why I have voted for Christine. Voting is open; you can request your ballot online via https://mvp.sec.state.vt.us/ or go to your town clerk’s office to vote early, or call the clerk to request a ballot be mailed to you.
